Review by thelot

thelot Not the best SBD source for this show. The pitch is a hair slow for set 1 and set 2 is at chipmunk speed. Also, there’s a lot of annoying cuts throughout the first set. Sounds like a Cass/3 or so. Although there’s pitch issues it’s still listenable.

The audio quality to start is horrendous. Possibly a loose cable? Wilson cuts out and starts back up about a minute in with much better sound. Really nice Sky. Page’s Coil solo fades out. Tape flip? The recording picks back up at the start of a decent Tweezer jam. Strong Groove to close set 1.

Set 2 kicks off with Golgi/Landlady. The chipmunk speed of the tape made for entertaining versions of Reba, Llama, Jim and Possum. The band jams out on Whole Lotta Love again during Fish’s vac solo in Love You. Decent Bowie set closer. Oh Kee Pah>Suzy wrapped up the evening on a high note.
