MDosque Oh man - I have to chime in here. This was an excellent review. I feel like I have a real accurate view about how things went down at Deer Creek last night. I am so sick and tired of people going on self-righteous trips about fans dissecting Phish. This has been going on forever. We all love the band. Our brains are all wired in some sort of similar way. 99% of us probably love The Simpsons. Breaking down details of shows is a way we establish this community and appreciate this amazing music. Sensitive people need to chill - even when critical, most of us will freely admit and respect that a song or a jam could have hit another fan on a deep level of experience that was totally different (except for Alaska - HA) from the one that we had. This review was not negative - on the contrary - after reading this review, I feel like this show was a great one to be at and probably way better than the Saturday AC show I caught a few weeks ago. So basically what a few posters are saying is that anyone that feels like a Tweezer stopped a little short just when it could have heated up or Slave was sloppy or Number was misplaced in the set is a bad fan or on a deeper level, has some sort of negative outlook on life. That is the most ignorant way to look at it. To me, this forum is a place where we can discuss and break down the shows and not just blindly say that everything was "sick" or "face melting" when someone thinks that it was NOT. That is what makes the Phish community different. That's just the way I see it and I'm no authority, but please spare me the holier than thou garbage related to reviews.

Sincerely,
Dosque
