This is one of my personal favorite YEMs, primarily for the
jam segment, vocal jam and Closing Remarks, which I
will include herein.  Opening segment is standard, with
typically strong jamming around the two Notes in the
pre-charge segment, and nothing that special in the Mike
solo-section.  There are a couple misses from Trey in
here, though (few beers, maybe?  but they are minor).
Charge at 4:54.  Screaming, then "Boy" at 5:12.  Trey runs
"Man" and "God" and BoyManGod together.. BoyManGodShit..
Mike goes "Crap."  Trey goes off on "Poop" between the
WUDMTF chants... and returns to "Poop" again in the next
set of WUDMTF chants.. ;-) (this is by far the most
engaging WUDMTF segment I've got from this whole period).

Just before Page kicks in at 7:09, Trey goes "Let's all
poop now."  It is a great section.. Page is typically
great.  Trey cuts in at 9:10 or so and just rips right
from the beginning.  I realize this was many years ago,
but I still think Trey's Jimmy Page jamming in here is
spectacular, even in light of the skill he has recently
blessed us with.  He jams with an incredible rage in here
(I think he was showing off... for someone)... non-stop..
constantly.. he enters another world. I mean, what the
@*%#$?!? Lotsa trills and constant scales/noodle-jams.
Reminscent of Hendrix and Stevie Ray at times, too.  I
just love his jamming in here.  Mike and Page actually
drop out completely at one point, too, and it is just Trey
going ballistic with Fish keeping the beat.

When everyone finally comes in again, after what seems an
eternity of Trey wailing away, the jam just gets better.
I think Trey must have had a few beers in him or
something.. he does miss a fret or two, for sure, but in
general, the intensity of his jamming is outrageous.  This
is still one of my favorite YEMs, and yes, I like TREY's
jamming in here better than most versions of YEM that I've
**ever** heard.  STILL.  TO DATE.  Mike and Fish at 12:50
or so, funking away.. BASS AND DRUMS, BASS AND DRUMS!!
Just not for very long...

Trey and Page lay off completely, too, until 13:20, when
WUDMTF comes back in (w/Trey going "Poop" between WUDMTF
chants).  And then, the Poop vocal jam begins..
(bwaaaahahaha)  I'm still amused by this bullshit after
all this time.. (fart noises from someone as well)  I know
this is arguably the most childish of vocal jams ... with
some stupid late 80s Casio type effects ... but I love
it!!  Poop/farts vocal jam ends at 15:27.  Trey goes..
"We'd like to take a short break, so that we can poop
[pause, Fish hits a rattling percussion instrument, which
is just HYSTERICAL, placed as it is in here] and we'll be
right back." (Trey laughs from Fish's well-placed
percussion prowess)  Then Mike immediately says "We'll be
right back with some breakdancing." (B/B+ rating for the YEM)

Then you just hear the audience..

Someone?:  "There's a announcement to be made [Fish interrupts]"

Fish:  "We need a volunteer for a keg run!"

Guy in audience, who I have heard at other Ian's shows,
who is probably Ian himself (Mr. Sharpless, your learned
opinion??) ( "Ian" says, from off stage):

"Welcome Lulu to the show."

Trey:  "We'd like to welcome Lulu to the show first of all."

Page, wistfully:  "Lulu, Ian's mom."

Trey:  "Second of all, those of you who feel you won't
need to poop in the next hour or so, we'd like you to go
on a keg run."

Ian (comes to mic):  "Atta Boy."

Another guy from the aud, Guy #1, who also comes to the mic:  "We
have the money.  We need a sober driver, and a pickup
truck."

"Ian" (intoxicated):  "No Dee-Wee [DWI] allowed let's get a driver up for
a keg run.  Let's go let's go let's go!"

(some guy, maybe Fish.. off-mic): "Your mother.  Send your
mother for the keg run."

Trey (on mic, in highpitched cutesy voice):  "Who are you
marley. Marley marley marley marley how are you where are
you over here marley marley come here"

Fish (on mic):  "I think those extremely sober men
over there are trying to say that they want to drive down
[laughs]"

Guy #1 (on mic):  "I will supply the pickup truck for
someone I deem sober."

Fish (on mic):  "I'm sober. [long pause] Hey-uh.  I'll
drive.  I'm sober.  Not that that makes a difference.
[cackles]."

(some more AUD noise.. then that's it..)

(one of my favorite Phish SHOWS... still)
