I think it was between sets at this show that the famous
"Esther" video was played.  Some friends of mine from
school were at this show, and well, had a great time.  I
was studying for a final exam.  ;(  But I didn't really
care about Phish at that time, anyway. (he says,
defensively.. what a foolish deadhead he was!!)

Perfectly straightforward opening pre-Nirvana segment, and
Page's noodling in the Nirvana section is pretty.. nothing
special.  Mike's solo is very high on the 'doc, and
happy.. he noodles, too.  Pre-charge fine.. uneventful.

Bwaahahahahaha... Boy at 5:30 or so.  Fantastic scream
from _MIKE_ in here.. ;)  Sounds like Mike, anyway.  Mike
teases something on the bass in here at one point (during
the WUDMTF) segment.  I don't know what that bass line is
from, though.. some funky number! ;)  Fun WUDMTF
segment.  Mike is really prominent in this board-mix, btw.

When Trey comes in around 9:13 solidly, he doesn't really
do anything.. mostly Mike is the one funking around and
noodling.  Trey begins noodling around 9:40, gently and
melodiously, as usual for YEM ...  He is steadily
getting more intense (there goes Mike with those teases of
whatever that damn funky tune is)... oooouuu.. Trey's
noodling in here (around 10:30) is mesmerizing.. very
repetitive and quick.. niiiiice.  Just non-stop melodious
noodling... repetitive at times, but it is fun.. nothing
lame, imo.  He's extremely active, and the accompaniment
is glorious as usual.  Some trilling just before B&D at
12:23 or so.  Nice ending.. nothing jaw dropping, though,
especially.. I mean, given the preceding noodling.

Bass and drums is very active.. Mike is also noodling
melodiously, and Fish is changing it up (CUT TO SIDE B).
Nothing that special in here, though...

At roughly 13:40 or so, the final WUDMTF closing segment
kicks in (and has some great Mike jamming!!  he doesn't
put that bass down for another 20 secs or so..).  The
vocal jam is hysterical.. insane as usual, but a lot more
amusing than The Usual vocal jams (to my ears).  Total
time about 17:55 or so.  Then about 3 seconds of nothing.
Then **Harpua**. (Harpua's master "the Timber Hole" was
abandoned and Harpua wandered off alone into town.. Jimmy
is watching Cam Neely on the tube, his favorite hockey
player...)  (C+ rating)
